Charles Russian- Lovelady

Charles Russian-Lovelady passed away on July 31, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, August 9th at Valley Church in West Des Moines *Masks are encouraged*. Visitation will be held at Henderson's Chapel 1-5pm on Monday, August 8th. Interment at Glendale Cemetery.

Charles Lamont Markese Russian-Lovelady was born on June 17, 2000 to Markese Russian and LaToya Lovelady-Ware in Des Moines, IA.    He was educated in the Des Moines Public School District, graduating from East High School.   

Self-employed in Lawn Care Services. Charles would try to be the best in everything he did.    His love for Spider Man as a child was frightening! He would climb high fences and anything else he could climb and hang from just like Spider Man! He would say; "Look Mom Im Spider Man!" It got more terrifying year after year as he came into adulthood. He turned in to an Acrobat. Charles would do flips on land, off houses and buildings. And he would do one armed push-up   Charles also had a love for football, even though he was always the shortest on the team. Known as the "Ankle Biter", he had no fear and would tackle players twice his size. Charles had a love for music. In his youth you would always see him somewhere drumming on any and everything! He participated with Isiserettes and had the honor of playing in front of Barak Obama. He loved to play the Xbox; his favorite game was Apex Legends.

 Charles infectious smile gave so much Love and Joy to his son ZyAire Lovelady, girlfriend Damia Larkin, family, and friends. Family gatherings are a must and loved on each other as much as we could.

On July 31, 2022, our Charles was tragically taken from us and answered the    Lords call to rest.    He was preceded in death by his (Grandmother) Gail Russian, (Great-Grandfather) James Hughes, (Great-Grandmothers), Genovia Hughes, LuSarah Alexander (Lovelady) and Irene Russian, (Uncles), Charles Lamont Lovelady, Lamont Lovelady Jr.

Left to cherish Charles memory is his (Father) Markese Russian, (Mother) LaToya Lovelady-Ware, (Stepfather) Frederick Ware, (Son) ZyAire Lovelady, God-Mother Keona Ward-Taylor, (Brothers) Desmond Lovelady-Brown, Markese Russian Jr., Lamarkes Russian, Markeedy Russian, Nehemiah Russian, (Step-Brothers)Kani Ware, Dimaryn Ware, JaShawn Ware, (Sisters) Latoyia Lovelady-Ware, A'layah Williams, Kaiyona Russian, Nevaeh Russian, JeRiya Russian. (Step-Sisters) Alicianna Ware, Alecia Ware. (Grandmother) JoAnn Hughes, (Grandfather) Lamont Lovelady, (Grandmother) Rhonda Anderson, (Girlfriend) Damia Larkin. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Close Friends.
