Bobby Glenn Palimore was born on May 29, 1947 to George Palimore and Helen (Steele) Robinson, in Carrollton, AL. He was educated in the local school district and graduated from the Pickens County Training School.
In 1986, Bobby was joined in holy matrimony with his dear Norma Jean. Between the two of them, they were blessed with eight children: Bobby Jr., Rilla, Glenna, Andrew, Kyle, Destinee, Dianndra, and Gwen.
Bobby was a member at Faith Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board. In his spare time you could also find him fishing, gardening or kicking back watching old westerns. He also was an accomplished cook. His sweet potato pies, banana pudding, fried corn and stuffed peppers were must haves. Above all, Bobby loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
On April 13, 2015 Bobby answered the Masters call and stepped from time into eternity. He was greeted on the other side by his parents, George Palimore and Helen Robinson; brother, Herbert Hill; stepfather, Hosea Robinson; father and mother-in-law, Will and Naomi and Will Robinson; sister-in-law, Veda Blake and brother-in-law, Emmanuel Campbell.
Left to cherish Bobby's memory is his wife, Norma; children, Bobby Jr.(Eva), Rilla (Kelly Foster) Kelly, Glenna, Andrew, Kyle, Destinee and Dianndra Palimore and Gwen Steadmen; nine grandchildren; siblings, Charlesa Campbell-Hill, Lawrence, Rufus, Morris, Terry and Donald Hill, Hyratt, Tony and Scott Palimore and a host of other relatives and friends.
