Ben is survived by his loving daughter, Shalisha Barber, step daughters Karen Dameron, Tracy, Pamela and Angela Wright He also leaves behind the warmth of his grandchildren, Scott Perez Jr. and Scotniesha Perez, siblings Irene Holmes of Des Moines, IA and Bernice White of Minneapolis, MN, great grandchildren along with a cherished host of nieces and nephews who will carry forth his spirited legacy.
He joins in eternal rest his Grand daughter Scalicity Perez, father, Ben White Sr., and his mother, Lola Marsalis, alongside his sisters, Barbara jean Sloan, Dean Dudley, and Ernest White. Together, they await him in a peace that mirrors the beauty of the murals he created.
