Ariel Casiano

February 22, 1975 — January 25, 2025

Des Moines

Ariel Casiano was born February 22, 1975 to Frank Casiano and Pura Corali in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Ariel was one of five siblings and had three children, Ariel Jr., Jacquelynn and Timothy. He was a son, a father, a nephew, a brother, a cousin, and beyond that he was a brother in Christ to so many. He lived in Aurora, Illinois for most of his life, and spent time living in Puerto Rico for a short time during his childhood. In later years of his life, he lived in Erie, PA, Phoenix, AZ, Cheyenne, WY and eventually moved to Des Moines, IA.

Ariel loved dogs, loved family, but above all he loved God. This was demonstrated by his witnessing to others as he invited them to Kingdom Life Family Ministries International. He made KLFMI his home where he enjoyed his weekly heart to heart discussions with Apostle Andre D. Brooks.

As he spent time working at Dart, he invited anyone he met on his bus routes to church. Wherever he went, he spread joy, laughter, and told jokes. He loved taking pictures of the morning sunrise, the evening sunsets, the Capitol building in downtown Des Moines, the farmers market in the summers, flowers, and selfies. Each time he got a haircut, he would take a selfie and share his new look. He was fashionable and loved hats, watches, and glasses. More than anything, he looked forward to worshipping in God’s house; playing his maracas, his hand drum, or his harmonica.

The list is endless. If we were to write a book about Ariel, his life, and the impact he left, the world would not have the paper supply required to contain it all. The impact he made while he was here was profound. We find peace in knowing he is at rest and he finished the race before him. May we find comfort and peace knowing he is with the Lord eternally.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
