Apostle Emmanuel S. Guanue

Emmanuel S. Guanue, 45, was born January 15, 1972 in Saniquelleh, Liberia to Peter Guanue and Alberta Bailey Guanue. He was a quiet child with a great big smile. He carried that smile with him his whole life.

Emmanuel received his primary education in Liberia and went on to the university for advanced education and certification as a Social Worker. During one of his training programs he met the love of his life in the person of Ms. Precellia Cherue. The liked each other right away and were finally married January 27, 2007.

Emmanuel worked several jobs, including being a DJ for a radio station that he founded in Liberia. After Emmanuels conversion to a Christian life he changed the format of the station to gospel music. He was a Social Worker in Liberia and after he moved to the States. He had a great love of music and had an extensive collection of many different genres. Emmanuel also loved to do research on biblical subjects. He was an excellent writer and story teller. He loved children and would get down on the floor and play with them like a kid himself.

Emmanuel loved the Lord and was called to preach and teach His word. He was ready to walk into his ministry as an Apostle with the Reformed Pentecostal Church. He also loved to hear his wife preach.

Apostle Guanue passed away June 2, 2017 at the age of 45. He was preceded in deathy by Josiah Sueh.

Left to carry the memory of Emmanuel is his wife, Precellia; his children, Josephine D.S. Flomo, Hakeem Guarue, Amos Guanue, Ecellile Guanue, Emmanuel C Guanue, Roland Weah, Sam Weah, Leo Jaybah, and Teddy Gokai; his parents, Peter Guanue, Albertha Guanue, an Auntie, Mary Lah; his siblings Susana Guanue, John Beyan and Junior Guane; many nieces, nephew, extended family here and in Liberia.
