Anna Geiger

Anna Elizabeth Lee Dickens Geiger was born on July 2, 1931 to Robert and Roberta (Harris) Lee in West Point, Mississippi.

Anna was educated in the Gary School System in Indiana where she graduated from Roosevelt High School.

In the early 50's, Anna met and married Robert Dickens and to this union four children were born.

Anna spent the majority of her professional career in sales working at various of Gary's retail establishments.

Anna was known for her exquisite taste in clothes, always dressing for the occasion.

On Monday, July 14, 2014, Anna entered into eternal life; waiting to greet her was her husband, Timothy Geiger; her parents, Robert and Roberta Lee; her sisters, Mona and Willa Hardy; her granddaughter, Jada Nicole Beard and great -grandson Samir.

Anna leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Robert, Sr. (Linda) of Merrillville, IN, Janis Dickens of Gary, IN, Rochelle Beard and Daryl Dickens both of Des Moines, IA; her step daughter, Elaine Jacque; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; a special son, Marvin Lyles; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
