Angelina Aurora Beracci

Angelina Aurora Beracci was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 1, 1969 to Walter Terry Hampton and Janeen Aurora Smith. Angelina was originally named after her mother but decided to change her name as soon as she was old enough. After graduation from Ankeny High School, Angelina attended DMACC and Drake University. She also made the decision to leave Des Moines to explore the world and find herself.

Angelina loved cross country driving and her traveling allowed her to live in Lexington, KY; Pensacola, FL; Houston, TX and spent some time in California, too. She eventually settled in Florida where she worked for the USDA as a Quality Control Consultant. Angelina loved, the arts and she was a huge movie fan. She also loved music. Her favorite was the BeeGees. She loved to sing along to their CD. She was a free spirit! Nothing like a flashy car, some good music and the open road for her.

Angelina left this life behind on June24, 2014 at the age of 43. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Aurora Smith of Ankeny.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Janeen Smith; 2 uncles, Justice and Jason; her cousin, Johnetta Levell and a host of extended family and friends.
