Alhaji S. Kemokai passed away July 22, 2021.
Alhaja Sheku Kemokai was born on August 10, 1996 to Munkalenud and Jebbeh Kemokai, in Sierra Leon. His family relocated to the United States and settled in Chicago, IL. There Alhaja graduated from Roosevelt High School. Alhaja and his family would then move to Des Moines, IA.
After moving to Des Moines, Alhaja worked several jobs as a general laborer. Most recently he was working for Mosaic. In his spare time, Alhaja enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out with close friends. A music lover, Alhaja also enjoyed to listen to hip hop music, rap and dance from time to time. He could also be found watching Nigerian tv shows.
Alhaja passed away on July 22, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Munkalenud and Jebbeh Kemokai;siblings, Madam Kemokai, Vashan Kemokai, Mohamed Juanah Kemokai and Mohamed Zombo Kemokai; the rest of theKemokai family, Konneh family, the Chicago family, the Johnson family, the Dassama family and a host of other relatives and friends.
