Linda Harlan

Obituary



Linda Diane Harlan-Conkrite was born on March 27, 1956 to Max and Marjorie (Norman) Harlan, in Osceola, IA. She attended Clarke Community High School and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Shortly after graduation, Linda enlisted in the United States Army. Later in life Linda would continue her education at Des Moines Area Community College.



Linda was the proud mother of two children, David and Michael.



Linda worked as a bus driver for Dart and Link Associates. Her clients were always met by her welcoming smile and caring spirit.



In her spare time, Linda enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, dominoes and listening to old school music. She also loved spending time with her dog, Charlie Wilson Harlan. Linda was a member of True Vine Church.



On January 29, 2015 Linda answered the Master's call and stepped from time into eternity. She was met on the other side by her parents; Max and Marjorie Harlan, her adoptive dad; Gerald James and her adoptive siblings; Mike and Sharon.



Left to cherish Linda's memory are her children; David Conkrite and Michael Harlan; four grandchildren; Josiah, Jozalynn and Joshua Conkrite and Leontae Harlan; five sisters, 1 brother, her adopted James family and a host of extended family and friends.
