Etien Luna

Etien J. Luna passed away on June 1st, 2017. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

In death, he rejoins his grandfather: Paul Martin; cousins: Paul T. Butts Jr., Alhamisi M. Butts, Ezra T. Butts; and his best-brother: Demetrias Thomas.

He is survived by his mother: Tina Mwaura; sister: Whitney (Farran Hayslett) Butts; nieces: Samiah Hayslett & Amaya Bettis, sister Jordyn Turner, niece: Jyoni White, sister: Ranaya Folks, brother Naasin Mwaura, grandmother: Nina Butts; girlfriend: Nakia Dewitt; great-grandmother: Lueverda Martin; aunt: Sylvia Butts; cousins: Portchia Butts, uncle: Paul (Rolanda) Butts, cousin: Beryah Butts, his best brothers: Javon Robinson, Devion Lee-Wells and a host of cousins & friends.

Etien was a graduate of Hoover High School in 2012. Etien was a dedicated worker and employee at Mercy Medical Center. He was a fun loving individual who loved surrounding himself with family and friends. Etein was an optimistic person who knew how to view everything in a positive light. He was very caring and would give his last to his loved ones. Etien grew up in a family built of mostly women and held a special place in everyones heart. Etien will be truly and forever missed.
